Waterfront Venue Hire at Soldiers Point
A flexible setting for meetings, gatherings and special occasions.
Choose the ground floor, upper floor or both levels depending on the style and size of your event. Both floors enjoy water views and have their own bar. The upper floor also includes a preparation kitchen, dance floor, projector, pull-down screen, microphone and speakers.

Ground Floor
A relaxed function space with its own licensed bar, indoor seating and direct access to a covered outdoor area. The ground floor suits meetings, workshops, casual gatherings and smaller celebrations while still enjoying water views.
Upper Floor
A larger function room with its own licensed bar, dance floor, preparation kitchen, AV equipment and waterfront balcony. The balcony is limited to a maximum of 25 people at any one time.

Facilities & Arrangements
Food and Bar
Both levels have a licensed bar. Bar service and staffing must be arranged with the club. The upper-floor preparation kitchen and club BBQ may be requested as part of the application. External caterers may be used subject to approval.
AV, Music and Decorations
The upper floor includes speakers, microphone, projector and pull-down screen. Decorations are welcome when approved, but nothing may be nailed, screwed, stapled or permanently attached to club surfaces. Music and event finish times remain subject to the club's approvals, liquor licence and applicable noise requirements.

Venue Hire Conditions
Booking, deposit and payment
A $100 deposit is required to secure an approved booking and is credited towards the final hire fee. The balance and any bond must be paid by the date stated in the club's written confirmation.
Bump-in, event and bump-out times
All access must occur within the approved hire period, including decorators, caterers, entertainers, setup, guest attendance, cleaning and removal of property. Additional time may be charged at $60 per hour and must be approved in advance.
Cleaning and rubbish
The hirer must remove decorations, food, equipment and rubbish; wipe tables and surfaces; clean any kitchen or BBQ areas used; and return furniture to the agreed layout. Additional cleaning costs may be deducted from the bond or invoiced to the hirer.
Alcohol, bar service and RSA
Alcohol may only be supplied and served under arrangements approved by PSYC and in accordance with the club's liquor licence and NSW RSA requirements. Bar staff fees may apply. BYO alcohol is not permitted unless expressly approved in writing.
Damage and responsibility
The hirer is responsible for loss, breakage, damage or excessive cleaning caused by the hirer, guests, suppliers or contractors. The club may deduct costs from the bond and recover any remaining amount from the hirer.
Safety and capacity
Emergency exits and access routes must remain clear. Club capacity limits must be observed. The upper balcony is limited to 25 people at any one time. Children must remain under responsible adult supervision.
Music, noise and finish times
Music, speeches and entertainment must comply with the finish time approved by PSYC and any conditions applying to the premises. The club may direct that sound be reduced or stopped where necessary.
Cancellation
Cancellation terms will be confirmed with the booking. The deposit may be retained where the club has declined other bookings or incurred costs because the date was reserved.
