Crew Opportunities

Have you ever stood onshore watching the boats glide across the bay and wondered what it would be like to be onboard? Maybe you’ve always wanted to try sailing but didn’t know how to start or who to ask. Whether you’re an experienced sailor, brand new to the sport, or even just love the vibe and want to be “deck jewellery” for a day — you’re welcome here.

At Port Stephens Yacht Club, we’re always looking for new crew and new faces. If you’re curious, we’ll help you get started. If you’re experienced, there’s a place for you too. You don’t need to own a boat — just bring your interest, your enthusiasm, and we’ll take care of the rest.

There’s something special about coming ashore after a race and being able to say, “I was part of that.” Join us, and you’ll not only gain new skills, but also new mates — and stories you’ll be proud to tell.

Come sail with us. Come and belong.
