Use of the Marina
Soldiers Point Marina has an arrangement allowing PSYC members to use marina berths for short periods on race days at no charge, subject to availability and the conditions below.
Berthing Arrangements
Subject to Availability
Paying marina guests and tenants have priority. Members may generally use the end of C Arm T-Berth (C22/C25) and G46 T-Berth when there are no ropes or other signs that the berth is occupied.
Other Berths
Any other marina berth must be approved by the marina manager or their representative before each use, even if the berth appears vacant or was used by the member previously.
Peak Periods
From 20 December to 28 January, and during Sail Port Stephens week, members must obtain approval before using the marina, including for passenger drop-off.
Maximum One Hour
Berthing is for short-term casual use to load and unload passengers only. The maximum stay is one hour unless prior approval has been arranged with the marina manager.
Vessels Must Be Attended
Vessels must not be left unoccupied during the one-hour stay unless prior approval has been arranged with the marina manager.
Power & Water
A minimum payment is required if marina power or water is used. Payment must be made to the marina office before use.
